Jimmy and Tricia were married at Elizabeth Park on Friday the 13th... Brave Souls these two... and lots of fun. I am working on revamping, reorganizing, and revitalizing my website. I have added a new Gallery on Senior Portraits and completely changed the Gallery Slideshows. You can now see them in full screen mode, however, they will still be low resolution and a bit soft at that size. I am working on new Wedding Galleries as well and should have them up in a few days. I have also updated my Biography, and am working on a new look for my Logo and site. Three more New Music Videos will be up shortly, and I am working on lots of changes in the Flower Girls Video, so if your little cutie has been in one of my weddings, watch for her soon.

Donald and Jennifer Naillon

Donald and Jennifer were married on November 27th, 2009. Their Music video is up and ready to view and all their wedding images are online for family and friends to view. Don and Jen can give you the password.

The wedding and reception were both at Crystal Gardens. This is a wonderful couple who were easy going and very easy to work with. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was terrific.

This was a great start for a brand new family. I wish you both health, happiness and a wonderful life.

Last Sunday, the Millrace Historical Village in Northville

Yesterday, I took a ride out through Hines Park and stopped by the Mill Race Village to check out how the colors were coming. These images are only 1 day old and the colors are almost full... still a bit of green mixed in, but I suspect that we will be in Blazing Fall Color by Sunday. The long range forecast for Sunday is Autumn Cool, with lots of Sun, and a blanket of Color... Perfect.

If you have ever wanted a Classic Fall Color Portrait and didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars to have it done, now is the time. I have crossed off 3 Sundays in October to take appointments at 3 different parks to make portraits in what should be blazing fall colors. The image below is from a session at Heritage Park in Taylor taken last weekend. The beautiful little family is Chris, Kelsey and their little darling Skylar. Chris and Kelsey's Wedding Video is also on this site. Michigan has been pretty cooperative so far... the colors are just starting to turn and the flowers are still in bloom. Perfect.

Shannon and Andrew's Music Video has been approved and it is up and ready in the Music Videos/Weddings page. This couple was beautiful, the weather was perfect, and the venue was breathtaking. Shannon's parents worked long and hard making this outdoor wedding site nothing short of perfect. This couple was a lot of fun, and my oldest son had the honor of being Drew's best man. Once again we have a couple with differences that compliment one other... only this time it is the Bride who provides most of the animation.

The music they provided is "At Last" and "I'm Yours". The music fits well together and compliments the mood of the wedding perfectly.

Laura and Brooks Music Video is now up and ready. You can get there by clicking on their image, or going to the Music Videos/Weddings Page. This is a unique couple. Laura was a little shy, but beautiful bride. Brooks was bouncing off the walls and cracking me up all day. When Laura stepped into the isle, Brooks almost hyperventilated... you can see it in the video. Great Wedding you two. Lots of good memories... and some beautiful photos.

I am using Photodex Presenter for the slideshows exclusively. I have yet to have any requests for the Flash Versions, but all I need is one and I'll put both versions up. If you have a Mac, I won't let you go without.

We spent a day last spring at Wahby Park at the Blossom Heath in St Clair Shores gathering Engagement photos. We also had an opportunity to visit the park on their wedding day. In this video both sets of images were used to add impact and make the most of the songs they chose. I hope you enjoy it.

Nicole and Eric, and Yeato and Wilson both contracted me to do their weddings without even meeting me first. I cannot put into words how flattered and grateful that made me. Nicole and Eric are from Michigan, but make their home in Tennesee. They had to plan this whole event from hundreds of miles away... they did a great job. Nicole was absolutely breathtaking on her wedding day and Eric was the perfect groom. You can check out their engagement photos in the gallery pages and all their images will be online later today... but you will need a password from Nicole and Eric to view them.

Online viewing and ordering for friends and family is now up and ready. Click on the Online Ordering button on left to visit the online store. You will need a password to view images which can be provided by the client. This is to protect their privacy and givethe bride and groom control over who can view and order from their images. There will be Galleries that are not password protected, such as ArtPrints. Click on the Gallery tab in the upper left corner to see which events are available. If your images are not online as of yet please be patient as I am uploading new events as fast as I can.

Yeato and Wilson's Music Video is approved and posted in the Music Video/Weddings page. This video features a beautiful couple who demonstrated nothing but love and immense respect for one another, their guests, and me, their humble photographer. The Music they provided for this video fits so perfectly that it is difficult to imagine any other choices. You will need a PC to view this and allow the Photodex Presenter to load. If you are a Mac user please write me and I will make a Flash Version especially for you.

I have been a little lax lately on posting updates, but in my defense, I have been very busy. I am working hard at setting up the online ordering for Friends and Family with professional quality prints at super saving prices. Look for the online system to be up this week as well as more Weddings and engagements.

I have added an engagement session to the Gallery page. Eric and Nicole will be married on August 15th at Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Royal Oak. While I'm waiting for Kelsey and Chris to view their Music Video before I post it here, you can check out my post on the Blog. Kelsey and Chris were married on March 20th... the first Day of Spring... and their flower girl, Kylie, is one of the stars of the Flowergirl Video.

The Flowergirls. I put a new Wedding Video Slideshow together from some of my favorite Flowergirls. Don't worry little guys, you'll be next. You can see the little darlings in the Music Video/Weddings section. This is set to a song I ran across that I hadn't heard in years... as a wedding photographer, I love the Flowergirls... even when they are bad, they are unforgetable.

I have changed Vicky and Tony's Music Video to good old fashioned Flash. It should run fine on Macs now. It looks a little different, and is about twice as Data Heavy than the Photodex Presenter, so it may be a little slow loading... but it still runs the DVD style menu. When Photodex gets it's Mac Support going I'll change it back.

Two new slideshows in the Music Videos/Weddings section. Jaclyn and John were married on February 13th, and Vicky and Tony were married on Valentine's Day and I have posted more on their weddings on my Matrimony and Cheese Blog. Vicky and Tony's Video is the largest I have put up so far and is 2 songs long using the Photodex system. There is a problem with Macs and I am looking for a solution, but it works great with PCs. If it asks you to intall Photodex software it is not a problem and it lets you view the slideshow just like the DVD version with menus.

A new Slideshow in the Music Videos/Life section. Michigan Man... I always loved this song by Mike Ridley. If it wasn't so gender specific it probably would be our State Song. I used my neighbors and grandaughters for the "Hand Maps" and the "Wilson Shot". What started as just a fun project ended as a memorial to my Brother Rick.. but it is a happy memorial, and this song has much more potential, so watch for it to change regularly.. might even pop a few grooms in here... I hope you enjoy it. You may be asked to install software. This is a new web slideshow system that I am testing and it allows for smoother streaming of higher quality images... It also allows me to present music videos as they would appear on your TV with DVD style menus. There is no danger in installing this software. I have word that those with Macs cannot view this. I am checking into it.

You can chat with me and still watch the Gallery Shows. The messenger will open into it's own window. Whenever I am at my Computer, which is a lot, I will be online.

When viewing the Gallery Shows you can turn off the auto slides and skip to any other slide by clicking on the numbered slides in the Jump Bar under the Show. The music will still play and you can take your time browsing the images.

I've added another Wedding Special for Wedding Photography Booked on Non-Saturdays during the Wedding Season which un-officially runs from Easter through Halloween. I am also adding online viewing and ordering for friends and family.

Two more Videos in the Key of Life. This time it is all about growing up. Both Videos are of Emily Kuehn, now a student at Kalamazoo College. One is for her graduation, and one is for her mother.

I've added two more Wedding Shows in the Gallery.. and one Show that is just for fun. Kids, dogs, frogs, snakes, bugs and backyard birds. What does a photographer do when he's not putting your wedding on disk? Find out a little more about me by watching the "Just For Fun" show in the Gallery. By the way.. the very last image has me in it, and yes, it's hard to watch football with Granddaughters and I am a Patriot Fan...

I've included my Granddaughter, Allie, on the front page as she was all dressed up, accessorized, and ready to be the best flower girl you ever saw.. except for when she dropped her dress at the alter.. never give a 3 year old spaghetti straps to play with. Anyway, you can see more of Allie in the Music Video page and in the Gallery page.

I sincerely hope you enjoy this site as it is a lot of fun building. It looks the way it does, because I hate those cold, corporate, flash sites.. A lot of fancy dancin', but not much heart.
Just like this business I intend for this site to be eminently personal. I hope to meet some of you someday and help you have the best Wedding possible, while still having lots of fun and ending up with the most creative photography you ever saw. And for every Bride I photograph next year I will give an autographed copy of my book... when it gets published that is.
